Bollywood’s previous “dreamgirl” Hema Malini has apologized the disposition of Bollywood producers who barely make scripts making ladies (courageous woman) as heroes. “All the more so when the courageous woman crosses 35 not at all like saints who keep on remaining legends regardless of their age,” Hema Malini said.
The 68-year old performing artist, who is a Tamil Brahmin hitched to Bollywood’s Dharmendra, was at one time the “dreamgirl” of Bollywood in the eighties and gradually blurred into blankness after the introduction of her kids and in the wake of wedding Dharmendra. She now at times plays mother or fabulous mother’s characters other than fiddling with governmental issues.
“Bollywood producers would prefer not to cast on-screen characters of my age as heroes in their movies. We have it in us to even now convey a film on our shoulders; trust me, there are a lot of untold suitable scripts which can be made as movies,” Hema Malini says and adds that Bollywood expected to clarify why the powerfully gifted Madhuri Dixit, Juhi Chawla and Preity Zinta are not considered as heroes in their movies.
“Legends keep on playing lead parts in spite of intersection 50 or 60 however champions are ignored after 35 whether they get hitched or not,” Anushka Sharma joins the issue with senior Hema Malini.
