Mumbai, June 3: After keeping the state on tenterhooks for 48 hours, Maharashtra ranchers canceled their “strike” at an early stage Saturday taking after “palatable” converses with the state government.

The advancement came after around five hours marathon arrangements between Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and the pioneers of Kisan Kranti center advisory group, which finished here early today.

“We are interested in a homestead credit waiver… We should set up a panel for the reason which will incorporate ranchers’ agents and take a choice by October 31,” Fadnavis told mediapersons after the meeting.
