Irked by its “Tamil” substance, music wizard A.R. Rahman’s North Indian fans boycotted Rahman’s recentl-held Tamil music show in London, yelling trademarks against the twin-Oscar award winning music director.
A standout amongst the most famous musicians in the country and whose prevalence is next just to the supreme Maestro Ilaiyaraaja, Rahman has been scoring music in numerous Indian dialect movies including Hindi also some calm Hollywood endeavors. He has likewise launched numerous private collections and won a lot of awards including national award and Oscar awards.
Rahman led an immense show at Wembley Stadium in London on 08th July (last Saturday). Titled as ‘Netru Indru Naalai’ (Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow), the show was only implied for Tamils in and around U.K. Clearly, Rahman talked in Tamil while recognizing groups of onlookers’ cheers and before presenting every tune and the vocalists, and so on.
North Indian devotees of Rahman, who calmly sat for near 30 minutes, boycotted the show by yelling mottos while getting up and leaving the Stadium. They later took to social networking sites in a major way, criticising Rahman!
