More Stephen King is advancing toward the wide screen. Amblin Entertainment has tapped movie producer Josh Boone to pen the adjustment of ‘The Talisman’ – the 1984 dream novel King co-composed with Peter Straub.
‘The Talisman’ recounts the tale of Jack Sawyer, a young man who must go from New Hampshire to California to spare his mom, who is biting the dust of tumor. En route, he learns of a substitute universe known as The Territories, where “twinners” (exchange versions of individuals from our own particular world) live. Jack must go through both the U.S. what’s more, the Territories to discover a protest known as the Talisman, which he accepts will spare his mom’s life.
Boone beforehand directed The Fault in Our Stars, and his next motion picture – X-Men spinoff New Mutants, is planned to hit the screens on April 13, 2018.
