It is accounted for that performing artist ‘Jayam’ Ravi’s up and coming movie titled as Tik Tik Tik (title same as a Kamal Haasan-starrer which discharged in the mid eighties) would be music director D. Imman’s 100th film as a music composer.
Imman, who is the principal decision of low and medium-spending producers, is presumably the busiest music director in Kollywood. He has his hands full with his assignments with many movie producers. In the wake of learning formal music, Imman turned into a console player when he was 15 and appeared as music director with performing artist Kutti Padmini’s tele-serial Krishnadasi over 10 years back.
Singaram, Kolangal, Mugangal, Agalya, Kalki, Alli Rajyam, Thirumathi Selvam, Vasantham, Uravugal and Chellame were other tele-serials for which Imman scored the title-tracks and foundation score before at last influencing film to make a big appearance with Kadhale Swasam. Tamizhan, Sena, Whistle and ‘action ruler’ Arjun’s Giri were the medium spending films which helped him at first in discovering his expense in the industry.
It was Prabhu Solomon’s Mynaa which place Imman in the major class as he kept on giving quality melodies in Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam, Jilla, Romeo Juliet, Miruthan and Bogan. Imman has been welcomed by big names inside and outside the film industry for having touched the historic point of 100 movies as a music composer.
